Hakin United 2nds secured a spot in the Division Two Cup Semi-Finals with a penalty shoot-out victory over Merlins Bridge 2nds, following a 2-2 draw after 120 minutes of play.

The Vikings had taken an early lead at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village with Scott Paddison setting up Mason Dolling just three minutes in, but the Wizards hit back immediately just a couple of minutes later through youngster Tom Edmonds.

With the game finely poised, Bradley Plunkett restored the host's lead in the 69th minute, before lata drama saw 17-year-old substitute Oliver Mayhew strike at the death to equalise and send the tie to 30 minutes of extra play.

With nothing to seperate the two sides after extra-time, the tie was left to be decided via a penalty shoot-out, with stand-in keeper Gareth Fawcett proving the hero as his side won 4-3 on spot-kicks.
